Of Indian-German origin, I left India in '92 and have lived in South East Asia for 12 years, and am a Singapore citizen. Travelled extensively all over Asia & Europe. Currently taking a break from my post-graduate medical training, I have spent my time here exploring Ayurveda and Reiki, dabbled a bit in modelling and voiceover work, worked as a medical consultant, and now have run the BEC since June 2007. I speak English and Malayalam, and my hobbies include travelling, exercise/outdoor activity, books, movies, good music, all kinds of food, wine, and dessert (of course). I'm working for a company called Intuit (worked for it for almost 7 years in the US), which make, among other things, personal and small business financial management software.
Speak some French, German, and Danish (my mom is Danish) -- embarrassingly no Indian languages (yet). I like comedy, play guitar, do yoga (took courses in Mumbai at the Yoga Institute there), and miss California red wines.

We arrived in Bangalore in the middle of June this year (2009)and will be here for at least a year but hoping to stay longer. I have previously worked for a couple of months in Chicago but Louise spent three years in Hong Kong and a year in Australia.
We are keen to experience as much of India as possible and have so far had a long weekend in Goa and a short trip to Kabini River lodge.
Only language is English, I'm afraid.
