Bala Mela (Picture Gallery)

After much preparation, volunteers got together very early in the morning of Sunday, November 23, 2008 at the Bala Mela venue, Jyothi High School Ground, Lingarajapuram, Bangalore.
 

Bala Mela is a day long fun-filled event, a carnival for all the street kids and other kids who live in difficult situations as well as juvenile delinquents. For these kids Bala Mela gives an opportunity to relax and enjoy getting some attention for one day. The function offers various entertainment, games, medical health check-up camps and awareness programs wielded by over 500 volunteers.

A great day not only because of the children but also as to the many enthusiastic people from all over the world of every age who came together to create a splendid and unforgettable experience for both, the kids and all volunteers.
